Parent Association Committee
Parent Association Committee
About Us:
· The mission of Parent Association Committee (PAC) is to host meaningful family events, both social and educational, in a manner that truly enriches the experience for all members of Central Montessori School and our larger neighborhood community in Church Hill and Richmond.
· PAC is a standalone nonprofit organization 501(c)(3). It does not provide oversight of Central, its staff, admissions, or programming.
PAC Events and Activities:
· Throughout the school year, PAC hosts a variety of events to foster community building among parents, including:
· Informational Sessions: Opportunities to meet the PAC members, understand what PAC does, and learn how to get involved.
· Parent Meet-Ups: Relaxed gatherings for Central parents and kids to play and get to know each other.
· Outdoor Workday Events: Parents roll up their sleeves four times a year to help tend to Central’s gardens and plant new ones.
· Fundraising Events (Chili Cook-Off and Pancake Heaven): Funds from these annual events raise money to help support PAC activities and provide donations to benefit the Church Hill community.
· In coordination with Central, PAC helps support certain school events/activities that provide opportunities to families to come together.
Get Involved:
· All parents are welcome and encouraged to be part of the PAC team!
· Supported by the PAC Board, PAC events and activities are led by committee heads and committee volunteers.
