Thank you for your interest in Central Montessori School and in our traditional Montessori program. We have thoughtfully designed our program to meet the needs of professional and working families while providing children with a consistent, high-quality Montessori experience.

Enrollment OptionsCentral offers the following enrollment options:
  • 12-Month, Year-Round Enrollment
  • 10-Month School-Year Enrollment — Available to elementary and middle school students. A $250 monthly holding fee applies during the summer months.
  • Extended Montessori Hours — Optional care is available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Additional Montessori Hour services are available at the current published rate.
TuitionCurrent Tuition RatesCentral Montessori School’s standard 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. program is offered on a twelve-month basis.
For the 2023–2024 school year:
  • Pre-Primary through Middle School: $21,000 annually, or $1,750 per month
  • Infant and Toddler Programs: $24,000 annually, or $2,000 per month
The infant and toddler tuition reflects Central’s intentionally low teacher-to-child ratios, which provide a high level of individual attention and care.
Several payment schedules and limited discounts may be available. Sibling discounts may also apply.
Tuition and fees are generally adjusted annually in accordance with increases in the cost of living and the operating costs of the school. Central uses tuition adjustments to support competitive staff compensation and to offset increases in operating expenses.
Because Central Montessori School maintains an extended waiting list of enrolled families, tuition and fees may change between the time a family initially inquires and the time a child is offered enrollment. Families should refer to their enrollment contract for the tuition and fees applicable to their child for the upcoming school year.
Annual FeesEnrollment Fee — $300
Applies to all students and is non-refundable. This fee is due with the enrollment contract.
Annual Education Fee — $600
Applies to students enrolled in the pre-primary program and older. There is no annual education fee for students enrolled in the infant and toddler programs.
Families may reduce or eliminate part or all of the Annual Education Fee by participating in Central’s V-Hour Parent Volunteer Program. Families are responsible for completing the required volunteer hours by the end of their contract. Any remaining balance is due if the required hours are not completed.
Summer Enrichment Fee — $250
Applies to primary, elementary, and middle school students. This fee helps offset the additional staffing and enrichment-material costs associated with Central’s summer programming.
Technology Fee — $200
Applies to elementary and middle school students. This fee helps Central maintain technology and provide specialized materials and tools for older students.
Seasonal Daily Soup Contribution — Varies
Applies to primary and older students. Daily Soup is an integral part of the Montessori curriculum and is not considered a lunch or snack. Seasonal contributions allow Central to purchase farm shares from local farms. Families may alternatively provide fresh produce for the program once each week.
Optional Fees and ServicesAdditional Montessori Hours — $15 per day
This optional service allows families to drop off children as early as 7:30 a.m. and pick them up as late as 5:30 p.m. Most families use this service as needed, with charges billed quarterly. Families who need extended hours on a daily basis may be eligible for a reduced rate incorporated into their regular tuition payments. Please contact the school for details.
Summer Holding Fee — $250 per month
Available to elementary and middle school families who choose not to participate in summer programming. This fee helps Central retain its experienced and dedicated staff throughout the summer months and ensures continuity for returning students.
Winter Package — $400
An optional service available to all students by registration. The Winter Package provides care for children during most of Central’s Winter Break.
Private Instruction — Fees Vary
Central partners with a variety of private instructional providers and makes space available during the regular school day. This arrangement can be especially convenient for busy families who would like their children to receive specialized instruction without requiring additional transportation.
Available offerings may include Little Kicks Soccer, private music instruction, Central’s evening Studio Sessions, and other enrichment opportunities. Information about current offerings and fees is available through the school.
Additional Activity FeesOccasionally, additional fees may apply for special activities, field trips, programs, or other enrichment opportunities. Families will be notified of any such fees in advance.
Important Tuition InformationPlease note that each new enrollment contract may reflect a cost-of-living adjustment to tuition and fees. The tuition and fees stated in a family’s current enrollment contract are the definitive amounts applicable to that contract year.
